This platform speaks out on normalizing the narrative of uncertainty— recent graduates who may not know what’s next. Victoria and co-host, Robert Cain aim to expose the realities after undergraduate studies so listeners may become knowledgeable of emotions, events, and encounters that come during this transformative season.

Austin College announces Victoria Gilbert as the 2020/21 Senior Speaker for Commencement. She was selected by her peers to address the graduates, faculty, family, and friends at the in-person Commencement on May 23rd.

Victoria was chosen to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. as the student speaker for the MLK Breakfast ceremony. Each year the Texoma community comes together for a celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Austin College is proud to host this event and to help raise scholarship funds to benefit college-bound residents of Grayson County through the NAACP Grayson Branch.

Founded campus organization that worked to encourage students  to become well-read leaders and who pull from multicultural array of authors in such a way that allows them to think, converse and develop a different dimension of intelligence.
